Decision Replay
    Pro Feature

Replay the decisions behind the trade.

See your executions, price action, rule events, risk changes, Beacon moments, Ghost events, and trade outcome unfold together on one synchronized timeline using the evidence RulesFirst actually recorded or can reliably reconstruct.

Don't just review the result. Review the decisions.

A P&L number tells you where the trade ended. Decision Replay helps you examine how it got there: when you entered, added or reduced, when recorded rules triggered, how risk changed, when Beacon surfaced an intervention, and how the trade ultimately closed.

These are illustrative event types. A replay only includes the evidence available for that specific trade.

Your trade, reconstructed on one timeline.

Decision Replay can combine available evidence from the trade lifecycle without implying every trade contains every evidence type.

    Broker executions

See recorded entries, adds, reductions, and exits aligned with historical price action.

    Original plan

When the trade was planned in RulesFirst, review the original entry, stop, target, planned size, and available risk context.

    Beacon

See Beacon moments that were actually recorded while RulesFirst was monitoring the trade.

    Rules & risk

Review recorded technical or behavioral rule events and risk-stage changes alongside the trade.

    Ghost

When Ghost evidence is available, compare what actually happened with the applicable Ghost baseline.

    Outcome

See how the sequence ultimately translated into the recorded trade result.

    Decision controls

    Move from decision to decision.

Decision Replay focuses playback around meaningful moments rather than pretending to recreate every market tick.

Selecting a Decision Moment synchronizes the chart, event marker, active moment, trade story, and supporting evidence.

    Evidence boundary

Replay only what the evidence supports.

Not every historical trade contains the same level of RulesFirst evidence. RulesFirst should not imply a historical Beacon warning, plan, rule event, or acknowledgement existed unless it was actually recorded.

    Observed

RulesFirst recorded the relevant event while monitoring the trade.

    Reconstructed

The event or trade lifecycle was reconstructed afterward from available broker executions and historical market data.

    Inferred

A limited conclusion can be derived from available evidence but was not directly observed.

Useful even when the trade wasn't planned in RulesFirst.

If an original RulesFirst plan exists, Decision Replay can include that plan as part of the trade story. If the position was first detected through a connected broker, Replay can still use the available execution history, market context, and recorded live-monitoring evidence.

Built for trades that aren't one entry and one exit.

Scaling in, reducing size, and repeated executions can make a trade difficult to understand from a journal row alone. Decision Replay organizes available execution moments chronologically so traders can review how the position evolved through the trade lifecycle.

The outcome is only the last moment.

    See the sequence

Understand the order in which meaningful trade events occurred.

    Connect decisions to price

See recorded decisions and RulesFirst events in the market context in which they occurred.

    Review your process

Use the completed trade as evidence for reviewing execution, risk, and rule adherence.

Your journal shows the trade. Decision Replay shows the story.
