RulesFirst billing policy

    Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2026. This policy explains how RulesFirst trials, subscription charges, cancellations, renewals, and refund reviews work.

    The short version

You may cancel at any time to stop future renewal. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment already processed, and monthly or annual fees are generally non-refundable unless the checkout terms or applicable law state otherwise. Billing errors and exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually.

    1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, subscription cancellations, trials, and renewals are handled for RulesFirst. It supplements the RulesFirst Terms of Service and the billing terms presented when you subscribe.

RulesFirst provides digital subscription software. Access to paid features is made available electronically after a subscription or trial begins.

    2. Five-Day Trial

RulesFirst may offer eligible new customers a five-day trial. The signup or checkout screen will disclose the trial period, selected plan, billing cycle, payment-method requirements, trial end date, and whether the subscription will begin automatically after the trial.

When signup states that a trial will convert to a paid subscription, you must cancel before the displayed trial end date to avoid the first subscription charge. Trial eligibility may be limited by customer, account, payment method, device, or prior trial usage.

    3. Web Subscription Refunds

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated at checkout, charges for subscriptions purchased directly from RulesFirst are final and non-refundable after they are processed.

We generally do not provide full or prorated refunds for unused time, partial use, failure to use the service, dissatisfaction after a charge, cancellation during a paid billing period, or a renewal that was not cancelled before its billing date.

    4. Cancellation

You may cancel a web subscription through the subscription or billing controls available in your RulesFirst account. If those controls are unavailable, contact billing@rulesfirst.com for assistance.

Cancellation stops future automatic renewal. It does not automatically refund a charge that has already been processed. Unless the account or checkout terms state otherwise, paid access ordinarily continues until the end of the current billing period, after which paid entitlements end.

    5. Monthly And Annual Billing

Monthly subscriptions are billed for each monthly term. Annual subscriptions are billed for the full annual term. The applicable amount, currency, taxes, billing date, and renewal period are shown at checkout.

Annual subscriptions are not divided into refundable monthly installments. Cancelling an annual subscription prevents the next annual renewal but does not ordinarily create a refund for unused months in the current annual term.

    6. Automatic Renewals

Where automatic renewal is disclosed at signup, your subscription renews using the saved payment method until cancelled. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date shown in your account or billing notice.

Renewal charges are subject to the same refund terms as initial subscription charges, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

    7. Billing Errors And Exceptional Review

RulesFirst may review refund requests involving a duplicate charge, a charge processed after a cancellation was confirmed, a verified unauthorized charge, or another billing error caused by RulesFirst or its payment systems.

Any discretionary refund or credit is evaluated case by case, does not create an entitlement to future refunds, and does not change this policy. RulesFirst will provide a refund whenever required by applicable law.

    8. Availability And Third-Party Integrations

RulesFirst depends on internet connectivity, devices, cloud services, payment providers, market-data sources, and supported trading-platform or broker integrations. Features may be delayed, interrupted, changed, limited, or temporarily unavailable.

Temporary downtime, maintenance, provider outages, integration changes, unsupported fields, or a third party's availability do not automatically qualify a subscription for a refund. RulesFirst may issue a credit or other remedy at its discretion where appropriate, subject to applicable law.

    9. Apple App Store And Google Play Purchases

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by the applicable store. Store purchases are subject to that store's billing, cancellation, and refund rules, and RulesFirst cannot override a refund decision made by Apple or Google.

Cancel a store subscription through the subscription settings associated with your Apple or Google account. Submit any refund request for a store purchase directly through the applicable store's refund process.

    10. Unrecognized Charges And Payment Disputes

If you do not recognize a charge or believe a billing error occurred, contact billing@rulesfirst.com promptly so we can investigate. Include the email address associated with the account, charge date, amount, and any transaction information that is safe to share.

Nothing in this policy limits rights available through your card issuer, payment provider, or applicable law. Fraudulent activity, abuse, or material violations of the Terms of Service may result in account restriction or termination.

    11. Applicable Consumer Rights

This policy does not exclude, restrict, or modify consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived. If the law where you reside provides a mandatory cancellation or refund right, that law controls to the extent it applies.

    12. Policy Changes And Contact

We may update this policy as our products, billing methods, or legal obligations change. Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise, and the effective date above will be updated.
